How to validate someone’s microsoft certification?

Well you can ask that person to share it’s transcript. This can be done by logging into the Mcp website and there select the option transcript sharing code from the menu View My in the left sidebar. He/she will have to setup a password and then submit. A transcript ID will be generated and a link will be given. Now you are ready to share your transcript.

MCP Logo Builder

Today I browsed a bit the mcp site to look for the welcome pack and other benefits. I found the logo builder that allows you to builup a MCTS logo specific for the certifications you obtained. I created mine for the MCTS: .net framework 2.0 distributed development. and it looks like this:
Nice eh ?!? :-p Anayways I alos subscribed to the Redmond Maganzine and wanted to buy some stuff form the mcp estore, but the last didn’t go through because I ordered for about $ 28, but the crazy people at Microsoft charged $ 43 shipping costs for only 3 writing pens. No way I’m gonna pay for that 
and as a surplus you got a warning that the goods ordered internationaly can be charged again the amount of the bought goods (so $ 28) at customs. For that money I can buy myself a very nice pen here in Belgium.

(Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0: Distributed Application Development). I got 93,7% which is not
bad if I say so myself
Next on the menu is the 70-526 exam (Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Windows-Based Client Development). I think I will take this some near the end of May. I do hope this one will go as good as the previous two.
So I’m already an MCTS in my Distributed development track
This is my plan for 2007:
February : 70-536 : 89,4%
March: 70-529 : 93,7%
May: 70-526
July: 70-528

Next on the menu is the 70-529 exam (Distributed Application Development in .net 2.0). I think I will take this some near the end of march. I do hope this one will go as good as the previous one, but I think it’s more difficult.

Currently I’m not posting as much as I used to do but that’s because I’m preparing for my certification exam. I’m studying most of the little free time I have.
Next week I’ll update the post about the TFS Proxy Switcher. I still have to setup the codeplex project again.
